The dog has a temperature exceeding 104 ° F / 39.5 ° C
When there is an open wound (stapled or stitched wounds are ok)
The acute stage of an injury (first 72 hours)
Breaks or fractures that haven't fully healed
Certain skin conditions where bacterial or fungus is present. (ex. Ringworm)
A dog that is dehydrated, fatigued, over-worked, or at risk for heat stroke
A dog that is in a state of shock (just got out of an accident)
During episodes of diarrhea and/or colitis
Undiagnosed lumps and/or tumors are present
The dog is diagnosed with cancer
The dog is diagnosed with epilepsy
The dog has an infection
